Hiking Trophy Glarnerland – stamps, mountains and rewards
The Wanderpokal Glarnerland is currently in hibernation. We are already looking forward to the summer season in 2026 and will be back with all the latest news in the spring of 2026.
Forget loyalty points in the supermarket – here you collect stamps in the mountains. With the Wanderpokal Glarnerland, you hike to four selected mountain huts, get your stamp card stamped and receive a free drink at each hut: Elmer Citro for the committed, Adler Bräu for the thirsty. And if you have all the stamps? Then you get your very own Wanderpokal. In short: hike, drink, collect your Wanderpokal. It’s that easy to become a champion in the Glarnerland. So lace up your shoes, enjoy a beer on the summit and show the world: I didn’t just hike – I won..
Six steps to the hiking trophy:

- Plan your first tour to one of the four huts.

- At the hut, you will find a tap where you can stamp your collection pass once and receive a free Adler beer, an Elmer Citro or a mineral water.

Well prepared is half the battle
- Wear sturdy hiking boots. They not only stabilise your foot, protect you from slipping and allow you to cross mountain streams without getting your feet wet, but they are also comfortable to wear.
- Check the length and difficulty of the route, the timetable for the cable cars and the weather forecast.
- Take enough to drink with you.
- Start early enough to avoid having to hike in the midday sun.
- You want to enjoy the mountain landscape a bit longer? Book a night in the mountain hut early on.
