Glärnischhütte SAC

The Glärnischhütte: At the foot of the Glärnisch, whose snowfield shines as far as the Swiss Plateau, and at the Vrenelisgärtli, the legendary summit.

What was it like with the Vreneli and its garden, and why is there a glacier here now? Often visited by mountain hikers, the hut is the starting point for experienced mountaineers in summer and one of the most popular high alpine summit destinations in the Glarus region. There is also a climbing garden and bouldering facilities near the hut.
