Cross-country skiing pass Glarus region & Cross-country skiing pass Switzerland
The Glarus region cross-country skiing season pass entitles you to use the Braunwald, Töditritt (Schwanden – Linthal), Tierfed, Engi/Matt and Elm panoramic trails and replaces the two previous separate passes for the Glarus Süd municipal area.
The Swiss cross-country skiing pass entitles you to use selected trails throughout Switzerland.

Cross-country ski trail Töditritt
Tödiride on the Töditritt? Not quite, but the trail does run from Schwanden to Linthal, with the Tödi always in sight. On the way back, however, Hot Chocolate will soon be within reach.
Cross-country skiing trail Elm
In the Elm holiday region, you can train on 14 kilometres of trails not only during the day – the ‘Bärentritt’ trail is also illuminated until 9 pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays. However, this is also the part of the Elm route that has the steepest incline. You will also pass the huge Aeschen stone, which commemorates the tragic Elm landslide of 1881.
Cross-country ski trail Tierfed in Linthal
The Tierfed trail is located in Linthal, at the far end of the Grosstal valley, at the foot of the Tödi mountain, surrounded by high rock walls. The area is characterised by its high snow reliability.
Cross-country ski trail Engi-Matt
In 1799, the troops of the Russian Field Marshal Suvorov marched through the Sernftal, pursued by the French. The army struggled southwards in the snow, barefoot, hungry, exhausted and soaked to the bone. Cross-country skiers in the 21st century have it much easier: they glide along the historical Suvorov trail from Matt to Engi at a leisurely pace. The easy trail is very sunny and runs along the Sernf river in a regular terrain to Engi. There is a bus stop at the start in Matt and parking spaces at the church in Matt.
Panoramic cross-country skiing trail Braunwald
Crossing meadows and through snow-covered forests with a height difference of 200 metres and a unique view of the fantastic Glarus mountain panorama. The trails, which are prepared to a maximum of 10 kilometres in good snow conditions, are suitable for beginners and ambitious skiers alike. After a well-deserved walk, you can enjoy the unique view of the Tödi and Ortstock mountains from the Grotzenbüel with a cup of coffee or a hot punch.
Cross-country ski trail Urnerboden
The Gulispur on the largest alp in Switzerland leads over 10 kilometres in classic style and 10 kilometres in skating style through the wonderful high valley of Urnerboden. The trail is groomed daily, which guarantees the right amount of snow.
