The tour takes you far away from the hustle and bustle through winter forests and over meadows covered in deep snow. You will be accompanied on the route through the Elm mountain scenery by the impressive north face of the Hausstock. On this tour, you can discover the Tectonic Arena Sardona, a unique feature of global importance, which provides a visible insight into the formation of the Alps.

Panorama hike Braunwald
The hike starts at the Grotzenbüel mountain station (1559 m above sea level) in the middle of the ski resort (accessible by the Hüttenberg-Grotzenbüel gondola). The winter hiking trail leads through light pine forests up to the ‘Chnügrat’ viewpoint (Grotzenbüel – Seblengrat trail). The hike continues through the ‘Experience Ice Gallery’ which connects the Seblengrat with the Gumen (Seblengrat – Gumen trail). If there is no avalanche risk, the hike can be done as a circular hike Grotzenbüel-Ortstockhaus-Gumen-Seblen-Chnügrat-Grotzenbüel.
The Gumen – Ortstockhaus route starts at the Gumen mountain station. In good conditions, all three sections of the route can be linked together.

The content of the avalanche bulletin is of a warning nature.
