Claridenhütte SAC

It lies south of Linthal at 2457 m above sea level. M. southeast of the Gemsfairenstock on the summit plateau of the Altenorenstock in the Glarus Alps.

The Claridenhütte is the ideal starting point for your mountain tours,  whether on a hike, for climbing, for alpine tours or in winter on a ski tour. To visit the recently discovered traces of the pig, the Claridenhütte is the suitable starting point. The Claridenhütte is the ideal starting point for training courses thanks to the climbing garden, the Claridenfirn and well-suited places for practicing crevasse rescue and abseiling points. In the hut, there is a theory room for around 20 people with a projector and screen, which can be separated from the dining room. Thanks to Airplay, the presentation can be done wirelessly from the iPhone.

With the renovation of the Claridenhütte in 2014, the rooms were adapted to today's needs. The hut has 2-, 3- and 6-bed rooms. There are three larger rooms with bunk beds available for groups. A total of 75 beds are available.
A silk sleeping bag is mandatory. This can also be rented at the hut for CHF 5.
