Glarus Tourism Forum in the spirit of the GlaruslandPass
On Thursday, 12 June 2025, VISIT Glarnerland will be hosting the seventh Tourism and Leisure Forum. This year’s event, which will be full of variety, will take place on the Ämpächli in Elm, in the middle of the Elm Mountain Resort’s adventure area. The programme will include exciting presentations, an insight into current projects, with a focus on the Glarnerland Pass, and a look to the future – at the ESAF 2025 Glarnerland+.
GlarnerlandPass, inspiration from the sunniest region in Switzerland and mental magic
After the welcome address by Manuel Rickenbach, sales manager of VISIT Glarnerland, and the opening speech by Marianne Lienhard, member of the government, there will be an insight into the current activities and projects of VISIT. The GlarnerlandPass will be the main focus.
Kaspar Weber, deputy managing director of Ticino Turismo, will present the successful Ticino Ticket model. The guest card offers free public transport and discounts throughout the region during the stay – an inspiring comparison for the further development of the GlarnerlandPass.
A special highlight will be the appearance of Luca Gygli. The Glarus mentalist will bring magical moments to the Ämpächli with his interactive show. He plays with decisions, thoughts and free will – and enthralls his audience all over the world as well as online with over 600,000 followers.
ESAF 2025 Glarnerland+: more than just a festival
The Swiss National Wrestling and Alpine Festival will take place in Mollis at the end of August 2025. Daniela Heussi, co-managing director of the ESAF, will take a look ahead – not only at the festival itself, but also at what the canton can retain beyond the event for tourism. The forum will be accompanied by the Jodelchörli Chlytal.
Networking, exchanging ideas and enjoying the view of the Martinsloch
The forum not only offers informative presentations and input, but also an excellent opportunity for networking.
