The Migros Ski Day will be back in the canton of Glarus this year. After last year’s event in Elm, the popular family ski race organised by Swiss Ski will take place in Braunwald this winter. On Sunday, 2 March 2025, families can enjoy an unforgettable day in the snow. They will compete in a fun race on the Mattwald slope, with the starting signal given at 10.30 a.m. The sponsor village will be open from 10.00 a.m. on the Grotzenbüel start area, providing entertainment with its activities and supporting programme.
A snow sports day at a bargain price
Für gerade einmal CHF 120.-, Famigros- und Swiss Ski-Mitglieder gar für nur CHF 95.-, können Familien einen ganzen Tag lang Spass und Sport im Schnee erleben. Im Preis inbegriffen sind sämtliche Tageskarten, ein warmes Mittagessen für alle sowie Souvenirs und Attraktionen im Migros Ski Day Village im Startgelände. Darüber hinaus haben alle Familien die Chance, sich mit offiziellen Startnummern beim unterhaltsamen Plauschrennen zu messen. Es erwarten die Teilnehmenden nicht nur eine Erinnerungsmedaille für jedes Kind, sondern auch zahlreiche attraktive Preise, die für noch mehr Begeisterung sorgen. But the highlight of the event is a very special gift: each family receives an individual race video that captures the exciting moments of the fun race in a unique way. The day in Braunwald is one of a total of 18 events that will take place as part of this year’s Migros Ski Day season. The tour will make stops at a total of 14 locations.
A great family weekend
That’s not all. On Saturday, 1 March 2025, the first ever Zwerg Bartli Ski Day will also take place, where all children up to the age of 16 can ski for free on the Braunwald ski lifts. And in the Ortstockbar, the Braunwald mascot Zwerg Bartli will dance with young and old to legendary children’s songs in the afternoon. Everyone also has the opportunity to take part in the competition and win great prizes. The raffle will take place at 3 p.m. in the Ortstockbar.
