Velotour Ziegelbrücke - Walenstadt

The bike tour starts in Ziegelbrücke and leads via Weesen first along the Linth until you reach the shore of Lake Walen after a short time. From here you follow the lake in the direction of Walenstadt. The route is mostly flat and is ideal for a relaxed and enjoyable ride.

On the way, there are always beautiful views of Lake Walen and the striking Churfirsten. The route alternates between riverside paths and roads with little traffic and is generally pleasant to ride. There are several opportunities for short breaks along the lake - especially on warm days, various places invite you to take a refreshing swimming break.

On weekends and public holidays, the section to Murg has to be switched to the road instead of the beach path, as this is very popular with hikers.

The destination is Walenstadt, from where there is a direct train connection back to Ziegelbrücke.
