Bike Tour Ziegelbrücke - Walenstadt

The bike tour starts in Ziegelbrücke and first follows the Linth river through Weesen until you shortly reach the shore of Lake Walen. From here you follow the lake towards Walenstadt. The route is mostly flat and ideal for a relaxing and enjoyable ride.

Along the way, there are always beautiful views of Lake Walen and the striking Churfirsten mountains. The route alternates between lakeside paths and little-trafficked roads and is overall pleasant to ride. There are several opportunities for short breaks along the lake – especially on warm days, various spots invite you to a refreshing swim break.

On weekends and public holidays, in the section after Murg, you will partially have to switch from the beach path to the road because it is very popular with hikers.

The destination is Walenstadt, from where there is a direct train connection back to Ziegelbrücke.
