What an idea to build an electrically powered tram to the remote Glarus region, which is exposed to the forces of nature! The small narrow-gauge railway has turned life in the Chly Valley upside down and you can find out what that meant for the Landesplattenberg when you immerse yourself in the magic of the mine and visit the exhibition "A mountain valley in motion" at the Sernftalbahn Museum in Elm.

09.45 a.m. at the exhibition pavilion – exit of the village of Engi (bus stop "Landesplattenberg Engi") and 30-minute walk to the Plattenhüttli

10.15 a.m. aperitif (according to booking)

10.55 am Guided tour of the mine

12:25 p.m. tunnel exit

12.30 p.m. Lunch at the Plattenhüttli

Grilled Stollen steak (pork) with salad

Dessert: Glarus pastry

2.20 p.m. 15-minute walk into the valley

2.40 p.m. Ride with your own vehicles or public transport to Elm Station
