In addition to a guided tour of the overwhelming Landesplattenberg in Engi, this experience offers a nature experience on Alp Ämpächli with a unique view of the UNESCO World Heritage Site - the Tschingelhörner and the Martinsloch - as well as enjoyment in the cosy alpine hut.

Program

08.45 a.m. at the exhibition pavilion – exit of the village of Engi (bus stop "Landesplattenberg Engi")
and 30-minute walk to the Plattenhüttli 
09.15 a.m. Guided tour of the mine 
10.45 a.m. Tunnel outlet 
10.50 a.m. Aperitif (as per booking)
11.40 a.m. Journey with your own vehicles or public transport to Elm (Sportbahnen Elm)
12.05 p.m. Ascent with the gondola lift 
12.20 p.m. Short walk to the Älpli
12.40 p.m. The group agrees on a common menu.
Lunch in the cosy alpine hut or Ämpächli
Menu 1: Älpler Maggronen with applesauce 
Menu 2: Potato salad with hot meat loaf 
Menu 3: Zigerhöreli with applesauce
Menu 4: Baked Potatoes filled with herb quark & Ziger, with leaf salad
Dessert: Glarus pastry

3.30 p.m. Return to the mountain station of the gondola lift
3.45 p.m. Descent with gondola lift*

* Ride with mountain cart or scooter possible. Extra charge on site.

The Älpli is closed on Tuesdays and only opens for larger groups, alternatively lunch in the Ämpächli.
