Skitour von Hinterrichisau auf Silberen
One of the "Golden Classics" in the Glarus region. The north-facing descent still offers good snow conditions even after a few sunny days.
From Hinterrichisau (1134 m) in the Klöntal on the road over the Schwialpbach bridge and westwards along the hiking trail over the Gampeleggen to P. 1288 on the Pragelpass road. Always on the road past Eigeli (1345 m) and P. 1390 over the Chlön bridge. About 500 m after the next hairpin bend, leave the road in a southerly direction and climb southeastwards over the loosely stocked terrain of Fürstein. In the same direction the Mulde von Butzen, south past the Rampferenstöckli and pass P. 2073. Cross the Ochsenstrich and climb to the cairn on the highest point of the wide plateau.
