The Schilt summit (2299 m) lies within the World Heritage Site Tectonic Arena Sardona. The Aeugsten hut is one possiblity to reach it, the hike leads through colourful and varied landscapes and fauna. In the area around the Schilt there are also many karst caves to discover.
