Restaurant Bären

The traditional restaurant Bären is located in the old part of the village of Mollis and was probably built at the same time as the neighbouring houses. The Zwicky House, for example, which is known as one of the places of work of the last Glarus witch, Anna Göldi, was built in 1621. Our restaurant has 42 seats. 12 of them are in the front part and are mainly used by our day and regular guests. In the rear part with 30 seats is the cozy dining restaurant. The wood panelling gives the room a lot of ambience and invites you to a cosy get-together. Our kitchen classics: breaded schnitzel, steaks, veal cream schnitzel, cordon bleu bear specialities: The Bären has been known for its large steaks for years. Of course, these still exist. The Stübli offers space for about 20 people and is used as a meeting room during the week. On Friday and Saturday evenings, we use the Stübli for à la carte service or for smaller banquets.
