The playground at Lake Walen: fun and games in the middle of nature

At the center of this spacious playground is the large, capsized ship, which lies there with a broken bow. It can be climbed, balanced, shimmying, bouldering, etc. in a variety of ways.

The tower has been converted into a play tower: There are various safe entrances, a great slide and a rope bridge to the ship. For the little ones there is a sandpit with sun protection and a nest swing. Opposite the playground there is a lawn for playing, with barbecue facilities as well as seating and loungers. And all around there is a lot of nature with forest, sandy beach and of course Lake Walen.

Right next to the playground is also the Gäsi-Beizli, which belongs to the campsite, which offers drinks, snacks and fine food. The sandy beach in the refreshing Walensee starts just around the corner.

The Gäsi and the playground are within driving distance. Public transport to Weesen, on foot in about 30 minutes.

The playground is right next to the Gäsibeizli, where you can get good food and drink.
