Nature Trail Weissenberge Matt
On the secluded hiking trail from the Weissenberge to Matt, you can get to know our native woody plants. Information boards reveal interesting facts about the flowers, fruits, seeds and wood of trees and shrubs from the Glarus region. The path can be walked in both directions.

The gondola of the Matt–Weissenberge cable car takes you to the Weissenberge sun terrace at 1266 m above sea level in just a few minutes.
The forest nature trail begins with an information board at the mountain station. The 2 km long path first runs on a wide road and finally branches off onto a hiking trail, which leads over meadows, pastures and through shady forest down to Matt. (walking time: 1 hour)
