Muttseehütte SAC

SAC hut on the Muttenalp and on the hiking trail to the Kistenpass in the Glarus Alps. The oasis at 2501 m above sea level!

The Muttseehütte has 76 beds,

all of which are equipped with duvets.

Restaurant with space for 60 people.

Good to know:
Warehousing at the Muttseehütte SAC is limited or difficult due to the space and possibilities, especially for fresh products. Nevertheless, we try to cook as fresh and seasonal as possible and avoid convenience products as much as possible. However, we may be forgiven for certain compromises.

Depending on demand and transportation options, certain food and beverages may be temporarily unavailable.

Dishes from the menu are only available during the day. From about 3.00 p.m. there is aperitif time with cake, coffee and wine. The kitchen then switches to evening mode.

After the dessert service, the hut crew can also fortify themselves. We will retire for about half an hour for dinner and then be there for you until 10.00 pm.

Please keep the breakfast time personally agreed with you.

Check out is at 08.00 a.m.

Packed lunches for the next day can be ordered from the hut team until the evening before. Kiosk items such as chocolate, dextrose and PET drinks are available in the hut.
