Martinsmadhütte SAC
The Martinsmadhütte is located in a wild landscape above Elm, nestled between the Zwölfihörnern and the Laaxer Stöckli on the northern slope of the Vorab.
The Martinsmad Hut is only open in summer and is open to all mountaineers and hikers. The hut offers beautiful alpine tours, marked hikes, plaisir climbs, a climbing garden close to the hut with easy routes, a children's cable car and a climbing garden for beginners and experts just above the hut. The Martinsmad is a typical summer hut, but a visit in winter is not recommended. The approaches are tricky with snow and there are no worthwhile ski touring options.
