Linth-Limmern Power Stations
The Linth-Limmern power stations are the sustainable energy centre of the canton of Glarus
Built between 1957 and 1968, the Linth-Limmern power stations use water from a 140 km2 watershed between the Klausen Pass and the Panixer Pass. On the east side, 350 million year old gneisses are covered by sedimentary rocks.
