Lamatouren Kerenzerberg

Certainly not a lamas-shy experience!

Llamas are attentive and intelligent. Her level-headed and calm nature also makes her an ideal companion for children. The leisurely pace of the animals and their curiosity cause us to perceive the environment in a different way. We start the tours on our farm. This is located in the easternmost tip of the Glarus region, high above Lake Walen. On the old Roman road we hike on varied paths to Walenguflen. Over the suspension bridge and through the rock tunnel in the fox traps it goes back again. Duration: 1.5 to 2 hours. We hike via Walenguflen to Obstalden. Then it continues high above the lake towards Filzbach. In the Rüteggwald we roast a sausage or cook a fondue on the fire. On the way back we enjoy the beautiful view of Lake Walen. Duration: approx. 6 hours, hiking time 3 hours Beizlitour Via the Römerweg we hike to Filzbach to the Panorama Lihn restaurant. In a wonderful panoramic location above Lake Walen, we let ourselves be pampered there. Return via the Gugger to the Mittlisor. At Walenguflen we hike over the fox traps with their suspension bridge back to the farm. Duration: approx. 6 hours, hiking time 4 hours.
