Käsepass Alp Nideren-Mettmen

On foot, you walk along the beautiful Garichti reservoir, following the hiking trail to the Leglerhütte SAC, up to the beautiful ground of the Nideren-Alp (1850 m above sea level). The hiking trail leads between the hut and the stable. And there are also the cheese pass box and the small alpine restaurant, which is open from about mid-July to mid-August when the weather is nice.

Not far away is the natural rock gate, the Chärpfbrugg.

The most beautiful hikes to Alp Nideren-Mettmen:

• As described above via Schwanden / Kies-Mettmen. 
• If you want to go further up, you can continue via Wildmadfurggeli / Wildmad to Elm. On this path you will pass the next cheese pass Alp Empächli. And the second stamp in the passport is scratched.
