Käsepass Alp Guppen

Alp Guppen is located at 1656 metres above sea level on the left side of the valley high above Schwanden in Glarus Süd. It is embedded on the flanks of the Guppengrat, the Vrenelisgärtli towers high above it.

Mountaineers who want to tackle the ascent over the Guppengrat will find a good night's camp on groups (by appointment by calling 078 744 21 84). Various cheeses are produced on groups, so trying them is obvious - whether alpine cheese, sleepy alpine cheese, Vreneli cheese ... It tastes great.

In the alpine hut there are two mattress dormitories with space for 10 and 12 people. Duvets, pillows, woollen blankets and bed linen are provided, but you have to bring your own towels. It's time to wash outside, pure alpine feeling.

Dinner and breakfast are also available by appointment (with our own alpine products, in the evening Chäs-Hörnli with our own group alpine cheese).

For schools, there is also the possibility of alpine outreaches.
