Hut approach Bifertenhütte
Rewarding, scenic route with a unique deep view over the Limmernsee.
Starting from Chalchtrittli, the path passes two refreshment stops - the Muttseehütte and the Kistenpasshütte. On the way, you might be lucky to spot some ibex and other wildlife. After the Muttsee, the trail leads through rock bands up to the Kistenpasshütte – exposed sections are secured with chains. Over the Kistenpass, the mountain hike now continues to the day's destination, the Bifertenhütte.
