Guided tours at the Anna Göldi Museum

Public guided tours (April to October)

For individuals, a public guided tour of the permanent exhibition will take place from April to October (in 2026 also in November) on the first Sunday of each month at 1:45 p.m. Participation in the guided tour is included in the entrance fee.  

Private tours (April 1 to November 1, 2026)

A private guided tour of our exhibitions lasts just under an hour and costs CHF 200 during regular opening hours for groups of up to 40 people, plus CHF 7 per person (reduced admission). Children up to 16 years of age are free.

A private tour outside the regular opening hours costs CHF 250 for groups of up to 40 people, plus CHF 7 per person (reduced admission). Children up to 16 years of age are free.

If you would like to visit the museum with more than 40 people, we will be happy to inform you about the possibilities and conditions.

Private tours (November 2, 2026 to March 31, 2027)

The museum is closed in winter and is heated only in exceptional cases. Guided tours of the unheated museum last 45 minutes and can be booked at any time at the following special prices:

• up to  15 people          CHF 200.–  
• 16 – 20 people          CHF 250.–
• 21 – 30 people          CHF 300.–

Guided tours for school classes (all year round)

Guided tours for school classes usually last 90 minutes and cost CHF 250.  The offer is free of charge for school classes from the canton of Glarus. Further details on the educational offer for school classes can be found under "Schools".
