Glarner Waldperlen / Flüewald

The app 'Glarner Waldperlen' leads to the most beautiful and wildest forests of the canton of Glarus. The app shows how to get there and on site, GPS provides stories, games, and information. Each forest pearl becomes an experience for young and old with the app. Like here in the Niederurnertäli.

Surrounded by bogs, the Flüewald forest lies at the end of the Niederurnertäli. The moss carpets and dwarf shrubs covering the rock blocks give the forest a magical structure. Spruce trees entwine the rocks with their roots. Unmistakably, the cuckoo calls from the forest in summer before heading back to Africa.
