If you drive through the Sernftal, you should definitely stop in Engi: Right on the main road, at the end of the village of Engi, there is the Engi bakery in a large brick building, where chocolate is handled, pear breads and Glarus Beggeli are made.

The many other baked goods and sweets from the pastry bakery's range go out all over the world: to Finland, Saudi Arabia, Australia and the USA. In the Glarus region, the products are available in the Glarussell, in the market hall in Glarus, the Schwanden guest information office and, of course, in the company's own factory shop in Engi.
