Fryberg Bike
This challenging route in Europe’s oldest wildlife reserve is ideal for cross-country and free riding, but also suitable for families. The uphill section is easy; the downhill ride is steep in some parts.
Whoever takes the route from Schwanden via Haslen to Freiberg Kärpf makes 13 hairpin bends. Past the Gasthaus Tannenberg (coffee break!) it goes up nearly 900 meters in altitude to Rossgletti. Finally, the wheels roll again as if by themselves. Past the Kies-Mettmen aerial cableway and back to Schwanden. Or you can enjoy a fine lunch at the Restaurant Fryberg.
The route is marked as Fryberg Bike No. 306 and can be found on Schweiz Mobil.
