Fridolinshütte-Claridenhütte (2-day route)
Magnificent nature experience at the foot of the Tödi
This two-day route takes you to the two SAC huts Fridolinshütte and to the Claridenhütte. The starting point is in Tierfed, where it goes to Hintersand. This path can also be covered with the Alpentaxi . Then from Hintersand in 2.5 hours to the Fridolinshütte SAC.
On the second day, it continues from the Fridolinshütte over grassy slopes to the panoramic ridge of the Ochsenstock. From there follows the descent into the Lower Röti, whose name derives from the rock coloring. Several bends lower, you reach the Boden of Ober Sand. Now you have to conquer the steep, stone-strewn meadows of Beggenen to Beggilücke. Then follows a short descent northwards through a scree to the Claridenhütte. The hut lies at the edge of the flat Claridenfirn.
From the Claridenhütte back via Fisetengrat to Urnerboden. From the Fiseten pass, the cable car can be taken to Urnerboden.
