Survivors Lichen & Fascinating Microcosm
As part of the Glarus Forest Pearls, the Forest and Natural Hazards Department of the Canton of Glarus has created a new nature trail in Braunwald.
The lichen nature trail can be explored on foot from the Braunwald mountain station in an hour. The path with an impressive mountain panorama leads past the bubbling Zillibach Falls through secluded forests to the Nussbüel restaurant.
The trail is usually accessible between June and October.
