Firstboden
The Firstboden offers a unique panoramic view into the UNESCO World Heritage Tectonic Arena Sardona and into the Tschinglen Gorge
Wild haymaking is still practiced here up to the Firstboden. On the way there is a waterfall, several fireplaces invite you to barbecue and linger. After a rather steep ascent from Elm, you are rewarded with an overwhelming panoramic view from the Firstboden at 1750 m above sea level. From here you have a direct view of the legendary Martin's Hole and the "magic line" of the Glarus Thrust from the Hausstock via Piz Sardona to Foostock.
