Fireplace Sööli, Schönau

The official fireplace of the magazine "Schweizer Familie" is located slightly on the edge of the forest and has sunny spots as well as shady spots. It is easily accessible and offers plenty of space.

Accessibility:
From the cantonal road, turn onto the road towards Schwändi. The road to the fireplace branches off directly from this road after about 1.4 kilometres. After a few meters you reach the fireplace via the country road. Access to the fireplace is possible by car.

Location:
The fireplace is slightly hidden behind a small elevation in the ground. The location also provides a bit of privacy. The arrangement of the benches around the fireplace creates a campfire atmosphere and invites you to sit together comfortably. The grate of the fireplace is adjustable and offers space for fine grilled food. All around it offers a beautiful view of the mountains and the surrounding meadows. The location on the edge of the forest is another advantage, as it gives you the choice between shady and sunny sections.
