Fireplace Küsnachterhaus

Close to the mountain station of the Kies Mettmen cable car, this fireplace is located directly on the path. After about 5 minutes on the asphalt path towards the reservoir, you can easily reach it with a pram or wheelchair.

The fireplace has space for up to 20 people due to the generous four benches around it. A grate is available, the firewood must be brought by yourself. The fir trees all around and the view of the Schwirrwand give it a campfire character.

Specials:
This fireplace is located on the circular hiking trail around Lake Mettmen, also known as Lake Garichti. The leisurely circular trail around Lake Mettmen is 2.5 kilometres long and the pure walking time is about 45 minutes. The trail is also suitable for young children. The northeastern shore of the lake is suitable for prams, and the entire route should be feasible with an "all-terrain" stroller. The circular route can also be easily combined with a visit to the Berghotel Mettmen (terrace and children's playground) or the Naturfründehuus Mettmen (terrace, lots of surrounding area with Chräsmistei). Or how about a boat trip? Rental via the Berghotel Mettmen.
