Avalanche Training Center (ATC) Grotzenbüel
Training facility with automatic control system on the Grotzenbüel: Practice avalanche transceiver for emergencies.
On the north side of the group gondola on the Grotzenbüel in Braunwald there is an Avalanche Training Center.
Ski tourers, splitboarders, freeriders and snowshoe hikers can practice here with their search devices for emergencies.
Anyone who moves away from the marked slopes and paths should be informed about the avalanche situation and be able to act correctly in an emergency.
The system has a search field with an information board and an automatic control unit.
All information can be seen on the board. The facility can be used free of charge.
