Our small, family-run hostel offers 6 rooms – from single to 4-bed rooms. The unique and creative interior design is mainly made from local materials, such as driftwood or fir wood from the Glarus region, and from upcycled products, such as old skis or paddles. We also pay attention to regional and organic products when purchasing our food and beverages.
As our hostel guest, you can order your breakfast in the hall or prepare your own breakfast in the self-catering kitchen. After an active day in the still wild Glarus mountains, the recreation room with library, reading or play corner offers enough space for relaxation.
24-hour self-service café
The Aktivhostel HängeMatt also has a self-service café which is open 24 hours.
Play and bouldering hall
You can let off steam in the new arcade with climbing stations, ball pit and even more attractions and enjoy climbing fun in the bouldering hall.
