Street music in the middle of Glarus: Various bands and artists provide entertainment in front of Migros at the train station. Free of charge with collection. In case of bad weather, postponement.
On Saturday, September 12, 2026, the VFMB-Buskers will take place for the third time. From 11 a.m., the square in front of the Migros Glarus directly next to the train station will be transformed into a lively stage for street music and musical encounters.
The audience can look forward to various bands and artists - from experienced and established musicians to up-and-coming talents. This diversity makes up the special charm of the Buskers format and ensures exciting musical discoveries.
Which performers will be there this year will be announced at a later date. The association is currently still accepting applications from interested musicians and bands. Registrations are possible by e-mail to info@vfmb.ch.
The event is open to the public free of charge. In the traditional Buskers way, however, a collection (hat money) is collected with which visitors can express their appreciation for the performing artists.
In case of very bad weather, the event will be postponed by one week.
