Date
25. November 2026
Reading & Discussion - organized by the Women's Center Glarus and the Anna Göldi Museum
In our search for our identity, we often end up with our own family. Transgenerational trauma, the unconscious transmission of unprocessed psychological stress to subsequent generations, has increasingly become the focus of scientific research in recent years.
To kick off the 16 Days against Gender-Based Violence, Kim de l'Horizon will read from the novel "Blutbuch" (2022), which won the German and Swiss Book Prizes.
In conversation with Prof. Dr. Andrea Abraham, an expert on intergenerational trauma in families, the focus is on "family secrets that hang like clouds of fog over and between the generations".
The occasion is a cooperation with the Glarus Women's Centre.
