In 1989, Switzerland's largest "Hänggiturm" was threatened with demolition. Today, stories of living tradition and shared cultural heritage are condensed in the rescued architectural monument of the Glarus textile industry.

Coming to terms with past injustices makes the "Hänggiturm" a unique place of encounter and remembrance. The past is transformed into the future here.
