Daily operation of the Elm ski lifts from 20 December 2025

The Elmer Sportbahnen will start their daily winter operation on Saturday, 20 December. And the best thing about the start of the season in the middle of Advent: all children and young people will ride for free on 20 December..

Although Frau Holle has not yet showered the ski resort with much snow, Elm will be ready for daily winter operation next weekend thanks to the excellent work of the snow-making and piste-grooming teams. Winter sports fans can now head out into the snow or to the sunny terraces of the mountain restaurants.

The toboggan run will remain closed for the time being.

All children and young people can ski and snowboard for free on 20 December

On Saturday, 20 December 2025, children and young people up to the age of 16 can ski and snowboard for free. With the free use of the facilities, the Elm ski resort wants to give children a great snow sports experience to kick off the ski season.

All mountain restaurants open

The Munggä Hüttä (45 minutes) and the Älpli (10 minutes) are also easily accessible on foot via the specially signposted winter hiking trails, as well as the ski slopes. The sun-hungry guests can look forward to great weather and a varied and extensive range of food and drinks on the beautifully situated terraces. The three catering teams at the Älpli, Munggä Hüttä and Ämpächli mountain restaurant are looking forward to welcoming sun-loving guests.

Outlook

Winter season outlook 25/26

Snow sports in the Elmer mountain world promise white-covered slopes, long descents on freshly prepared pistes and plenty of sunshine. The Ämpächli mountain restaurant, the Munggä Hüttä and the cozy Älpli round off the visit perfectly with their gastronomic offers.
