Construction permit for FUTURO snow-making project

The Elm ski resort is taking a huge step into the future. They are pleased to learn that the Glarus Süd municipality and the canton have granted the FUTURO building permit.

After eight years of efforts to build a modern and efficient snow-making system for the winter sports operation, the project can now be brought to a successful conclusion. The Elm ski resort is looking forward to being able to offer a leading and widely recognised winter sports area with this important investment. The FUTURO project will be implemented in 2026. The FUTURO system is scheduled to be commissioned at the start of the 2026/27 winter season.
