The small mountain swimming pool at the foot of the Glärnisch is one of the oldest swimming pools in the canton of Glarus. It is mentioned in the book "111 places in the canton of Glarus that you must have seen" by Petra Koci and takes visitors to immerse themselves between the forest and mountain peaks.

The bistro is open every day from 09:00 to 19:00 (until 14:00 in bad weather) and until 22:00 on Fridays.

In addition to friendly service, the bistro, which is run by volunteers, also offers classic bathing menus such as fries or bratwurst. Let yourself be surprised by different daily hits or enjoy the refreshing bath drink. Then maybe a delicious ice cream for young and old and finally a jump into the crystal-clear water.

The Schwändi mountain swimming pool can be reached from Braunwald, Oberblegi and Leuggelen or from the village centre of Schwändi in a short walk. Admission is free and we look forward to every visit.
