The Filzbach DenkWeg is part of the Glarus Nord DenkWerkstatt. Meander along paths that form an infinity loop, leading you through beautiful landscapes: four supersized brain teasers plus four mindfulness oriented stations, promoting creative and strategic thinking, interaction and mindfulness.

The DenkWeg starts and ends at the large car park at the Kerenzerberg Sports Centre in the middle of Filzbach. Each station is equipped with an information board and has a Glarner bench where you can enjoy a break.

Mindfulness loop walking time: 45 to 60 minutes

Station 1: Doublecross
A large formatted classic puzzle game. Get involved in the game and try to put the double-cross together.

Station 2: Lord of the Rings
You guessed it, the two rings are tangled. Whoever can separate them clears the way to the next challenge.

Station 3: Conceptual boundaries
The Nine-Dot Problem addresses a practical problem-solving task in the field of mental reasoning. It involves connecting the nine red dots arranged in a square with the green rope by four straight lines.

Station 4: Towers of Hanoi
The objective is to move all the discs from the right to the tower on the far left. Don't be deceived, it's not as simple as it sounds!

Station 5: Free space
At this station, you will find one of the largest Betruf-Trichter in Switzerland, a prayer funnel or milk funnel, made here in Glarus. With the smaller version, the alpine shepherds and herders recite the Betruf, a traditional blessing into the valley.

Station 6: Balance
Well hidden, you'll find a huge nest swing. Here you can pause and quietly work on your balance.

Station 7: Feel
Take off your shoes and socks and go barefoot to feel the different surfaces. Alternatively, you can close your eyes to gain a different perspective.

Station 8: Listen
The colossal tuning fork, forged and hammered from one piece in the Mühlehorn hammer mill, is situated against a breathtaking panoramic backdrop. Strike the tuning fork and listen until the delicate vibrations fade away.
