Truly amazing: Image film – Check
Canton of Glarus/Communities/Visit Glarnerland • The canton of Glarus wanted to show what it has to offer in time for the ESAF 2025 Glarnerland+ event. To this end, two influencers were sent on a journey, which has now come to an end. The result is an image film that promotes living, working and leisure in the canton of Glarus.
‘Echt sagenhaft’ is an image campaign in which the canton of Glarus, the Glarus municipalities and the tourism organisation Visit Glarus Land are working together. The campaign is supported by numerous Glarus companies. The idea: the well-known Glarus chef-influencer Noah Bachofen and his non-Glarus buddy Nico Franzoni are sent on a journey to experience the nature, crafts, people and culture of the Glarus region (see media release of 26 March 2025). They discover the Glarus region in a witty way as an attractive place to live and work and as a diverse leisure region in a breathtaking natural setting.
An adventure journey
In five episodes, Noah and Nico learn about the culinary world of the Glarus region and that it is worth living here. They attend the Landsgemeinde, produce a genuine Glarus quality product together and visit impressive natural spectacles. The episodes have been published since 26 March as videos and social media posts and are accompanied by a website. The journey has ended and the image film has been completed in time for the start of the Swiss National Day of the Swiss Wrestling and Alpine Festival. The ‘Echt sagenhaft’ campaign was conceived by the marketing agency Rob Nicolas. It is managed by a project team consisting of members of the Visit Glarus Land tourism organisation, the cantonal location promotion agency, the cantonal chancellery and the municipalities.
Business is on board
The Glarus economy is actively involved in the campaign, for example by featuring Glarus products in the commercials or by profiling employees and having them tell their personal Glarus stories. The website echtsagenhaft.ch showcases the diversity of the Glarus working world and provides companies with a platform to position themselves as employers.
