Climb a monument of the Swiss mountain world on 14 September 2025.

The KLAUSEN MONUMENT is open to everyone, regardless of fitness level, and whether you are riding a road bike, gravel bike, mountain bike or e-bike. The start is individual from Unterschächen or Linthal. At the pass summit at 1948 m above sea level, a panorama of the Clariden and Gems-Fairenstock mountains awaits, while up to 2,000 cows graze on the Urnerboden in the summer. This makes the crossing a cycling and nature experience for friends, families and clubs.

For the organising committee and the tourism organisations VISIT Glarus and Uri Tourism, the focus is on offering all cyclists – with or without e-bike support and regardless of fitness level – a car-free and nature-oriented experience on the Klausen Pass. Participation is free, but registration is recommended at www.klausen-monument.ch. There is no deadline for registration.
