With his goats, he accompanies groups, families or schools on trekking tours through the Glarus South holiday region. On the hike over hill and dale, the strong goats are not only involved as varied companions, but also make themselves useful with their panniers. Due to the passion for the goats and the constant demand for the offer, the company has grown over the years. In cooperation with social worker Joane Steiner, who has been involved in the company for several years, Werner Bleisch has dedicated himself to the expansion of the facility into the "Glarnerland Yurt Camp" since the end of 2018. The facility in Sool not only offers a home to the goats, but also serves as a platform for educational work and allows the offer to be further developed. Equipment Last year, the existing enclosure of the pack goats in Sool was expanded into a yurt camp. Now, the place offers an ideal opportunity to ensure the most important amenities away from city life, but still be noticeable in nature. The immediate proximity to the goats completes the nature experience. The stable is still home to the 15 goats. The upper floor now offers 8 sleeping-in-the-straw places (Mätteli and sleeping bag required) and 10 sleeping places in the dormitory (Mätteli and sleeping bag required). There is also a fully equipped camp kitchen in the stable; Refrigerator, running water (no hot water), pots, dishes, cooking utensils, rags and tea towels are available. This is complemented by the outdoor kitchen, where you can cook over the fire. A composting toilet has been set up directly next to the barn. Showering is possible with solar bags. In the area around the stable there is also a large fireplace with seating, a yurt as a common room and a yurt equipped with a double bed and enough space to supplement it with additional sleeping places (with Mätteli and sleeping bag). These can be reached by wheelchair-accessible paths. By summer, an additional 1-2 wooden sleeping huts, each with two beds, are planned.
