Übernachten auf der Alp Bösbächi

Alp Bösbächi is located above Luchsingen in Glarus Süd. It is one of the largest Alps in the Glarus region. Divided into three stables, the pasture area extends from 1200 to 2000 meters above sea level. Usually, 70 dairy cows, 140 cattle, 50 dairy goats and 30 pigs spend the summer on the alp.

In the Dielsdorferhütte in Mittelstafel there are several cosy rooms with dormitories and a total of 18 people. The dormitories are simply equipped with mattresses, pillows and woolen blankets. Please take your sleeping bag with you.
Showers and toilets are new and available in the cottage.
A spacious kitchen room is also part of it.
In 6 minutes, the Brunnenbergbahn takes visitors from Luchsingen to Brunnenberg, from where a one-hour walk leads to Alp Bösbächi. In addition to the milk from the 70 cows, the milk from the 50 goats is also processed into fine cheese, which is also offered in the Bächibeizli.
For school classes, there is the possibility of alpine outreaches with Rita and Reto Widmer. Spending the night in the Dielsdorferhütte in the middle of the alp is a highlight.
