Stage 01 Kärpf trek - from Mettmen via Matzlenstock to the Leglerhütte
On the 1st day of the Kärpf trek, the ascent leads from Mettmen up to the Leglerhütte SAC.
From the mountain station of the Kies-Mettmen cable car, the path leads up to the Matzlenstock. Once you reach the Matzlenfurggel, you descend a few meters down to Razmatt and can fully enjoy the rustic nature in the Freiberg Kärpf. From Razmatt, the path leads up to the Chammseeli and past the Ängiseeli before climbing steeply through many switchbacks up to the Leglerhütte SAC.
On the terrace of the Leglerhütte, you can relax and calmly prepare for the 2nd stage of the Kärpf trek.
