Skilift Schilt
The Schilt and Fronalpstock area is a small, family-friendly and ecological ski paradise in the heart of the Glarus region and is only about an hour away from Zurich. The Schilt ski lift opens as soon as there is enough snow in the area. The ski bus (www.taxireust.ch/mullern-fronalp-express) takes winter sports enthusiasts comfortably from Näfels-Mollis train station to the area. After only a 10-minute ride on the ski lift, you are at the start at over 1600 m above sea level and can enjoy the slopes. In the Naturfreundehaus, which is located directly on the slopes, you will be served and pampered in a friendly manner. The Kännelalp Holiday Group House and the Friends of Nature House offer overnight accommodation directly on the slopes.
