Schnupper-Schneeschuhtour Klöntal
The beautiful Klöntal offers you the ultimate in snowshoeing. You roam through forest clearings, plains, open slopes that also rise in between. You pass remote nooks and crannies. All in all, a well-rounded winter experience.
Who is the tour for?
For all those who have wanted to get on snowshoes for a long time and have a certain basic level of fitness.
Pure walking time: about 4-5 hours, leisurely pace
Entire event: approx. 6-7 hours from the meeting point at Glarus train station
Prerequisite: Suitable for snowshoe beginners. Basic fitness necessary! There are 400-500 meters of altitude up and down again. More than a walk.
Meeting point: At Glarus train station, at 09:15 a.m. Afterwards drive with our private cars to the Klöntal.
Equipment: Who has: Snowshoes with ski poles and avalanche transceiver. Small backpack, food and drink, warm clothes, hat, gloves, sun protection, hiking or trekking shoes (if not available, then warm winter boots).
Costs: CHF 100 (plus snowshoe rental CHF 20) for this individual snowshoe tour in a small group (maximum 8 participants) incl. avalanche transceiver rental.
Insurance: Is the responsibility of the participants.
