Schneeschuhtour Oberblegisee und auf den Leuggelstock
First through the snow-covered mountain forest, then through open alpine terrain, we walk to the frozen Oberblegisee. After a short rest, we trudge a little steeper through hilly terrain up to the Leuggelstock, where a fantastic panorama awaits us. After a well-deserved lunch break, the freshly laid track leads us in a wide arc down to the Oberblegisee and finally to the valley station of the Bächital chairlift.
This guided snowshoe tour is suitable for advanced snowshoe hikers with a medium level of fitness. The area, which is far away from slopes and paths, offers the best relaxation and leads through the imposing Glarus mountains.
Route:
Grotzenbüel - Leuggelstock - Bösbächi
11.5 km, 580m ascent, 678m descent, approx. 5 hours walking time leisurely
Costs:
Excl. train rides and any consumption in the mountain restaurant CHF 90.-
Meeting point:
09:40 a.m. entrance to the Braunwaldbahn mountain station
Registration:
This tour can be booked all winter, including weekdays. For less than 4 people, the price will be slightly increased by arrangement.
