Rothen Bakery

What hip bakeries are rediscovering in the cities has always been standard in Elm: the dough of the bread is carefully prepared, has plenty of time to rise and finally ends up in the small shop opposite the church in Elm, along with many other traditional baked goods.
The Rothen bakery is also known far and wide for the best pear bread ever. But their almond pretzels or "Totäbeinli" are also incomparably good.
So every detour to the village centre of Elm is worthwhile to briefly stop by the Rothen bakery in the traditional Zentnerhaus.
